This policy explains how Journey in Egypt, a licensed Egyptian travel company at 171 Mohamed Farid Street, Al-Fawwala, Abdeen, Cairo, Egypt, handles the details you send when you inquire. We do not run online checkout. A form or a WhatsApp message is a request for an outline, not a payment.

Who we are

What we collect

Only what you choose to send, typically:

• Name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, and language.
• Travel dates, party size, hotels or ports, and the pace you want.
• Notes you add about mobility, diet, or a guide language.
• Technical basics the site needs to load (browser, pages opened) and, if you allow it, cookies that remember a language choice.

Why we use it

To reply with a private outline, to hold guides or cabins after you confirm in writing, and to keep a thread if a museum hour shifts. We do not sell guest lists, we do not rent emails, and we do not pass your details to a marketplace.

Who sees it

The licensed team in Cairo, and only the hotels, boats, or guides we name in your written outline once you ask us to hold them. WhatsApp messages stay in that thread. Payment, when it happens, is arranged in writing with the office — never through a cart on this site.

How long we keep it

Inquiry notes stay while we are planning, then for a reasonable period in case you travel later or a ticket date changes. You can ask us to delete a thread that is no longer needed.

Your choices

Email journeyinegypt@gmail.com to see, correct, or erase what we hold, or to stop messages. We still need enough detail to finish a trip already confirmed in writing.

Cookies and this site

We use cookies that keep the language you picked and help the pages load. Analytics, if enabled in the dashboard, counts visits — it is not used to sell advertising against your name.

Children

The forms are for adults planning a trip. Names of children in a party are used only to size rooms and tickets.

Changes

If this policy changes, we update this page. The Cairo address and the rule that we do not sell guest data stay the same.
