Tour Overview
Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut, Karnak, and Luxor Temple in one privately paced day. This itinerary is "East and West Bank of Luxor". Named stops: Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon, Karnak.
Both banks, one guide, lunch in the middle so Karnak is not stacked against four tombs.
The Valley of the Kings is tomb corridors in hot limestone hills; which tombs open depends on the morning, not on a printed list. Hatshepsut’s terraces sit against the Theban cliffs on the west bank — a mortuary temple, not Karnak’s east-bank forest. Karnak is the hypostyle forest of columns — look up; this is not a five-minute pylon photo. Luxor Temple is the east-bank colonnade in the living town, often held for late light — a different hour from Karnak.
"East and West Bank of Luxor" is written for Approx. 8 Hrs. Pickup is from the hotel you name; the first stop is the first site on this page, not a coach timetable.
Private means your party only. Empty seats are not filled with strangers, and shops not named on this page are not added at the gate.
